My daughter has an exam so fingers crossed she will pass.

She is very nervous and is eating everything in sight.

I have my fingers crossed here.
She's just gone to take it now. It's an evening class in British Sign Language.

I will have to go shop again tomorrow because she's eaten almost everything in the larder.

The exam went well but obviously no result as yet. Will let you know when the results are in.
