The arms on one of my fabric chairs are dirty and I've no idea how to go about cleaning them.
It says professional cleaning only but the suite is getting on a bit and I want a new one in the next year or so, so I don't want to pay out to have it cleaned.
Any ideas?

Well I tried foam from foaming up washing up liquid in a bowl and it's now worse than ever with water marks too now.
I thought about buying some covers just for the arms but can't even find any on eBay so I've no idea where to get them from. |

I have Barbsy but everyone seems to have leather sofa's these days so it's all about cleaning them.
I've even consulted my Kim and Aggy Cleaning Bible but no use.
I will just try not to look at it until I can afford a new one. |

Thanks Barbsy. I hope you feel more able to sleep later. Maybe too much sun, that always makes me unable to sleep.
I would like a leather one too but it will have to wait until I have enough money. Need to finish the decorating first. |

| Either use a thorw or - very ingenious this if you can do some needle work, buy a couple of coloured pillow cases, open up the side on one side and then fit to the arm - you may need to add a bit of elastic but it does work. |
