ust received this today from our Family Information Officer - just in case anyone on here is local to me and does nto get Lucy's emails

'Coping Solutions for Carers - How to Manage the Stresses of Caring'  is a 3 day course on 22 and 29 May, and 10 July, from 10:00am-4:00pm.


This course is suitable for all carers of children, young people, and older people, whether you care for them in your home or theirs. Even if the person you help lives some distance away, this can help you. The course has been running for a number of years, and feedback from all carers has been extremely positive and encouraging.
The course will help you to identify the causes and effects of stress, and make decisions about managing your own stress levels.



A free sitting service and transport can be arranged.



If you would like an application form, please contact me and I will post a copy to you.

Thanks Speeds, I hope it is useful to some who live near to you.

It's good to see they provaide a sitting service and transport. They don't here so we never go to any of the courses on offer.
