The summer holidays are not far away.
Most people seem to dread them but we're looking forward to them.
Are we the only ones ?

The summer break is getting ever closer
Is anyone doing anything this summer? holidays etc?
Me? Well it looks like I'm decorating the hall, stairs and landing over the summer holidays
Its going to be a mammoth task, stripping wallpaper, attempting to get the woodchip of the ceilings, renew spindles on the stairs. I'll be lucking if I get it done over the holidays. It desperatly needs doing though (its desperatly needed doing for about 4 years but hey ho )
Wish me luck, I may need it!

| well because ive had the decorating done recently, there wont be any summer holidays for us this year. i booked some playschemes where they have good one to one support and we will have some days at the seaside and some cinema and bowling trips, hopefully if the weather ever becomes more like summer we can have some picnics in the garden which i love doing. |

That all sounds like a great way to spend the summer holidays
Lets just hope we get some sunshine, I think we could all do with some.

It's lovely here today Barbsy. I've got loads of washing out and all the windows open.
No holiday this year.
My daughter is going to Australia for 5 weeks next Tuesday so it will also be a break for us as she is by far the hardest of the 2 kids still at home.
It will be the holiday of a lifetime for her. I will worry myself sick though. |
