A good morning from me.

I hope Gill is feeling better today Charles, migrains are horrible and often make you feel under the weather for several days.

Happy anniversary also Charles to you and Gill.

Thanks for the encouragement Pam, that's what we need to keep us going.

I hope nobody is snowed in today, it's supposed to be bad in places.

Here's to a happy Easter weekend for everyone.

Good morning everyone on this Easter Sunday.

I'm glad to hear Gill is better today Charles.

I hope you are all safe in the bad weather. It's lovely here with bright sunshine and a gentle breeze. It's very cold though with the odd shower now and again.

I hope you all have a great Easter Sunday and don't get poorly eating too much chocolate.

Good morning all. Cold and dull and snow on the ground this morning. We had considered going to the Chrich tramway museum 1940's weekend today -- but doubt if we will now looking outside. Pleased Gills better Charles.
Dont forget to eat chocolate instead of smoking Pixie you have a good excuse as its easter. Happy Day all.  Pam

That is a good idea Pam, why didn't I think of that. There goes my diet.

Have a good day whatever you decide to do.

Still clear of the cigs but it is touch and go at the moment, so much going on and it's making it harder to keep off.

Still not had any though so fingers crossed we can keep going.

Sounds like a lovely walk, I must get out and about soon.

Well done for losing so much weight. I was thinking of joining the Tesco diets but not got a round to it yet.

I think packing in the cigs has to come first.

When it comes to diets, or anything else, I am now going with the Boots "change one thing" approach. It's slower but it seems to be having an effect. 8 weeks ago, I "gave up" biscuits - especially dunking ones.

So far, I've only slipped up once. I haven't found it too difficult and I can even buy my favourites and plate them up for clients at work with no difficulty. Couldn't have said that 3 months ago!

Did the same with doughnuts (because of their high fat and sugar content) some years ago, although that was not part of an overall plan, and have just given up iced buns.

4 weeks ago, I introduced more vegetables and fruit into my diet. Even if I don't lose a lot of weight, the changes are easier to make this way and I'm eating more healthily.

A small permanent change helps more than a lot of temporary changes. At least, that's the way I'm working on it.

Wow you were up early.....like the idea of the boots diet I might do this along side SW....with SW tho I feel I can eat so much with such good results.  We have very slight snowflakes here at the moment.

Pixie smoking is so hard to give up I tried 3 times before I eventually stuck to it.....I think Robbie is managing because he keeps thinking about not having any legs!

Got a busy day today, got to visit some family....talk soon...Jennie
