UK Disability Resource of Disabled Needs

I have at last finished the complaints and posted them off today.

One to the LEA and one to the owners of the school.

They will have a shock when they see the sort of things that have been going on at that school and all the bullying our son has had thrown at him.

I must admit the lady from the LEA was good when she phoned me last week and very understanding but still no word from her on what they will offer our son now.

On a positive note our lad is still feeling good and has even started to stop biting his nails. Well, I should say his fingers as he had no nails left to bite. It's got to be a good sign anyway.

I'll post here when I hear something back from either of them. Bound to be a whitewash again though.

Maybe we will go public with it if they try that.

I had a phone call last week from the chap whose dealing with the complaint and he's coming here to meet us on Wednesday.

We are a little nervous but we will cope. I'm organising an advocate to be here too so that we have a witness to anything said and also using my dictaphone to record the meeting. He will have someone else with him too.

None of us can then turn around and deny anything.

I'll report back here after the meeting.

Thanks everyone. Not long now.

I've got all my paperwork together now and the advocate is coming half an hour before the others so we can chat and organise the papers, get comfy etc.

I'll let you all know how we go on.
