Hoping you are all having a ball
Tonight when the clock strikes 12
I'll raise my glass to all the world
To ask for peace and hope and love
But far more special from above
To ask for peace for us and our kids
To help us with this life we live
To make this new year more easy too
To prevent our struggles for what we're due
To pray that we may live one day
Like everyone else, happy and gay

Its a bit of fun
to keep me sane
If I was good
In how I write
I would be able to give
Wendy a fight

graceful with flare
I could not even do that
If for a million pounds you me dare
So have a go
Start the new year with a challenge too
