Garry had a very bad seizure in bed last night ,thought he had finally recovered from it, decided to change his pad[hes doubly incontinent]so that he would be comfortable in bed. he had just stood up when he went back into it and i wasnt quick enough to compleley break his fall, he landed heavely on his ankles especially his right one. on closer inspection we discovered it is not his ankle this time thankfully[he has broke it 4 times already and the last time he had plates and pins inserted in it to strengthen it, but they discovered that his bones are soft due to the amounts of drugs for his epilepsy that hes on.] its the front of his foot looks like a badly staved big toe havent took him to a&e as even if the toe is broken they will only tape them together.
feel really sorry for him as he has only very recently got his mobility back from the last time and his confidenience will have taken a big dent again.

So sorry to hear about this Myra, I really feel for you all.

I hope the pain is bearable for Garry and that he doesn't lose too much confidence.

Thinking of you all and hoping Garry will recover very soon.

Keep us informed how things are going when you have the time and feel able to.

How is Garry now Myra?

I hope he's not in as much discomfort and managed to enjoy Christmas.

Let us know how he's doing when you get time and if you feel able.

he is only just begining to weight bear still bad bruising on  the sole of his foot but that wasnt what spoilt christmas  it was his self inducing seizures, he is exceptionally hard work when in that frame of mind and boy was he in it christmas day.

he had loads of S.I. seizures before dinner at 3pm so during dinner he had his fingerless padded gloves on for the entire meal. they dont allow him to press on the pressure points he has found in the palms of his hands. he was like that till bed time inducing all the time he has over 19  different ways of doing it not all are visible unless you are sitting facing him all the time.

He was up nearly every hour all night having seizures.,then he had a massive true one and he has been reasonably good since.

thank you for asking.

Myra - still thinking of you both.  What a worry and a nightmare for both of you. That must be some bruise - it sounds awful.

Hope things get better really soon
