what a fantastic site,
i work with 17/18year olds all with severe learning disabilities and it is the main part of my pupil support work doing the transition with the 7 of them.
we attend a local college one day a week, work in a garden centre run by the local agricultural college another day,and do our own shopping and lunches from scratch another day in a local community centre, the other days are work placements/visits to workplaces to see what work involves.
i also do a lot of work on self travel and lifeskills, so found this site very very useful.

Glad that you found it useful Myra.
I hope it helps in your work with your young people.

I have just had a quick browse and I think this is going to be so helpful for everyone - the child (young person), parents, teachers you name it.
