and we have decided to stay in a hotel (well a travel Inn) for two nights. Thomas is so so excited.

I have so much to do tomorrow though - tis my own fault leaving it all to the last minute

1. Go and get hair cut
2. Get dog food
3. Go out to lunch at a mates house
4. Go to sharing assembly at school - Thomas has a speaking part as will all the children
5. Take dogs over to mums so my friend can collect them to look after them
6. Pack!!!!!
7. Try to find some shoes for Thomas to wear otherwise he is in school schools with his nice outfit
8. Find an outfit to wear - the one I wanted to wear is NOT winter

So now you have my to do list - please wish me luck that by 6pm tomorrow all is in order.

Oh should add - charge and take camere

That sound very exciting. I love weddings but I've not been to one for quite a while.

Do you put the dogs in kennels or do you have friends who look after them?

I bet Thomas is so excited staying in a hotel. I know my son was when he went to a concert with school.

I hope you manage to get everything done without too much stress and have a lovely weekend.

Oh yes don't forget the camera, maybe share a photo or two with us.

Thanks Pixie

Dogs are off to stay with a friend in Andover who has a weim. I did have another mate with a weim who was coming for the weekend but she has had to pull out so Hols will take my two from my mum and have them at hers - for her sins

I will take the camera - and yes - Thomas loves to stay in a hotel - loves to eat in a restaurant and is very excited about the wedding

We use them all the time actually. They are fab for wheelchair users and although the bathroom is not of much use to Dom - the bath is not really suitable, they ae so standard that we never have to worry about what we will find - it is always fine for us.

I did have a bit of a problem a couple of years ago when booking a travel inn as I ask for a put me up bed in a disabled room. The manager told me it could not be done. I asked him if he thought that disabled people should not have children - suffice to say that the bed was in the room.

My only gripe with Travel Inn is that I cannot book online as although I can select the disabled room I cannot ask on line for an extra bed. This means that I have to call their 0870 number which costs money (there is a web site called say no to 0870 which is good but never seems to have the numbers I need). Anyway - I call and this is done for me but I feel that they should update their website to allow disabled persons to book put me up beds in their rooms.

Rant over - you will all get used to me - I am a ranter!!!
