This is one of the friends we met for the first time today.

He's so tiny but he chases around faster than me.

We had a busy day. We went to see a Subaru Outback as a potential new car. I need an estate car but also one that can cope off road plus it has to be suitable for Dominic to transfer in and out of his wheelchair.

I'm no expert here but one thing I though of was something like a Range Rover or similar 4x4? I know a few people who need wheelchair access and they use people carrier type cars but I dont know of any that would fit the "off road" criteria.

Sorry, I'm not much help

Good luck.

Thanks for your reply - all replies are useful even if the poster feels they are not. You have taken the trouble to read and reply - that makes me feel special - thank you.

The 4X4s are too high for a wheelchair user who is indepent to easily transfer in and out of. Hence why we looked at the Subaru as it has a higher ground clearance.

Trouble is - with two huge dogs and a wheelchair and an electric wheelchair there is often very little room for the driver - let alone the passengers

Good afternoon. It's been another very busy day and I'm almost ready for bed already.

I hope you've all had a great day so far.

Good morning to you all.

It's a nice bright day today. Off out to do the weekly shop later and more ironing after that. The worst job in the world for me.

I hope you all enjoy some sunshine and have a good day.

Oh my, so now you have to wait again. It will be worth the wait but what a pain having to move all that furniture again.

The little doggie is gorgeous. He fell asleep on my knee because we all wore him out.

i wonder if i should have had a doggie instead of a child!!!

just had half an hour with the child from hell screaming and kicking out at me and his carer.

be glad when today is over.
