My lovely cat is very ill. She is around 17 but until recently she acted just like a kitten.
We were told in late December that she only had a couple of months but she has carried on for 7+ instead.
She seems to be much worse today and I'm not sure if she will last the night I hope it will be a peaceful passage for her whenever it happens.
It's all so very sad as she is a very big part of our family and we all love her very much.

She's still with us this morning, thank goodness, and off to the vets later.
I think she's having a reaction to the drugs they gave her on Wednesday for an infection so I'm hoping they can give her something to correct that.
Fingers crossed for some good news later.

The vets kept her in to do some tests, x-rays etc. There should be some news later after 3.30 on whether she can come home or if they need to keep her for the weekend.
Still got everything crossed here.

Thanks Barbsy. We will be spoiling her rotton over the weekend with lots of strokes and hugs.
She has to go back Monday to see how she's doing.

The cat is doing really well.
She went to the vets today and he gave her a once over and said she seemed much better.
He gave her some more tablets. Antibiotics for the infection, steroids and tablets to help with her breathing. He thinks she had some sort of allergy/Asthma attack as well as the infection hence all the meds.
I'm really pleased that she's well on the way to being better.
