here in west lothian scotland, our local college has a very good inclusion section, i have been doing the transition, leavers programme for 12 years now as a major part of my work, and have put 8 kids into college each of those years .
the course is a lifeskills course, and they are doing access certificates where appropriate. and lasts 2 years,
i have had a few big sucess stories. the best being a downs syndrome young man, who has held down a job in the local hospital for 9 years now, he has been doing portering for one of the main theatres also has the very responsible job of checking and changing oxygen bottles in the theatre, i'm so proud of him.

Wow well done to that young man and to you for all your work in helping him to get where he is today. And of course all the other students doing so well.
