Grandparent of the Year 2008
The search is on to find the nation's greatest grandparent to take over the much coveted title of Grandparent of the Year 2008! Make sure your grandparent gets the recognition they deserve.

Nine regional winners from around the UK will be selected from all the entries received. From these, five national finalists will be chosen.

The finalists will be invited to London, along with their nominating grandchild, on an all expenses paid trip to take part in the awards ceremony and visit some of the capital's top attractions, including the London Eye.

This year the award is being supported by Specsavers. The winner will receive, courtesy of Specsavers:

£3,000 to spend as they wish
free eye and hearing care for the next ten years
eyecare vouchers to the value of £750
hearing care vouchers to the value of £2,000
