My daughter has recently got herself a job as some of you will know.
While she was away in Australia a letter came through to say she had to have an assessment before she could start her job.
It's been a bit nervewrecking hopeing that her disabilities didn't stop her working.
I just had a phone call to say she can work.
They just wanted to know how her Tourette's will affect her doing her work and what support she has.
She should start this week.
I'm very proud of her.

My daughter has informed me that she's going in tomorrow anyway as a volunteer if not officially.
She has been working there as a volunteer for a year now so it will be acceptable.
I just have to keep my fingers crossed that she will cope as a fully fledged member of staff.
Thanks for all the good wishes for her. |
