She left around lunch time and already I'm missing her.
I will feel better in a couple of days once she emails to let me know she's OK.
Then I can start to enjoy less washing, ironing, lifts everywhere, late nights waiting up etc. etc.
It is the holiday of a lifetime and I expect she will enjoy every minute of it.
She deserves it with all the hard work she's done this last couple of years.

wow what an experience. how old is she pixie.
my neices and nephews travelled around aussie and they had the most wonderful time out there, so much to talk about and so many pics to see when they returned.
lets face it whatever age, wherever they go, we are mums, we never stop worrying.

She's 21 Barbsy but only looks 15.
She has Tourette's too but I haven't heard anything on the news about her being arrested for shouting anything inappropriate at the airport.
She will be gone for 5 weeks so I hope she copes.
I've not heard from her yet but she will have to wait until she can send an email as it will be too expensive to phone.
I'll let you know when I hear from her.

She will be fine. She'll have the time of her life! Give her my love when she gets in touch.

I will send her your love when and if she ever gets in touch.
I am a born worrier but I guess she hasn't been gone that long, only 2 days. One of those days would have been spent getting there and at least another half day sleeping to get over the journey.
I don't know her schedual at all, just snippets about places they were going to during the 5 weeks.
She's never been one for telling us anything but just assuming we already know.

She rang this morning, sounded tired but very happy.
I feel better now knowing she's safe and well and having a good time.

I sent her your best wishes and from several other people too who haven't had a chance to congratulate her on her job.
I must admit I feel so much more relaxed now I've heard from her.

What a wonderful experience for her I am so envious
The 5 weeks will be up before you know it and she will be full of tales to tell and I bet anything she will seem a lot more grown up
