Warmfront Grants

What does a Warm Front Grant get me ?
The grant provides a package of insulation and heating improvements up to the value of £2,700. Warm Front is a Government funded initiative and is managed by EAGA.

Once you grant has been approved, an assesor will arrange to survey your home and recommend improvements.

Improvements available include

Loft InsulationWe can arrange for two layers of insulation to your loft. This reduces heat loss by up to 25% (If your loft is already insulated, we may be able to add more).

Cavity Wall InsulationThis is a very effective way to insulate your home. It can reduce heat loss by up to 35%.

Central HeatingWe can arrange to have your boiler fixed, fix exsisting central heating systems and install new gas, electric or oil central heating systems.



Do I Qualify for a Warm Front Grant ?
Warm Front grants are available to home owners and people who rent from private landlords.

If you have received a Warm Front Grant before, you may still be able to use the balance up to £2700 or £4000 if oil central heating is included.

Applicants must meet the following criteria

1. Householders aged 60 or over in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:

Income Support
Council Tax Benefit
Housing Benefit
Job Seekers Allowance (income-based)
Pension Credit
2. Householders with a child under 16, or pregnant women with maternity certificate MAT-B1, in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:

Income Support
Council Tax Benefit
Housing Benefit
Job Seekers Allowance (income-based)
Pension Credit
3. Householders in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:

Working Tax Credit (with an income of less than £15,460, which must include a disability element)
Disability Living Allowance
Child Tax Credit (with an income of less than £15,460)
Housing Benefit (which must include a disability premium)
Income Support (which must include a disability premium)
Council Tax Benefit (which must include a disability premium)
War Disablement Pension (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
Attendance Allowance
NOTES:

* The term 'Householder' includes the applicant's spouse, or partner, if they are living with the applicant
