LEAs - they make you madHad a chat with the Head today. She is exasperated. School have still not received the money for Thomas statement hours increase. This is now 1 month after the Final Amended Statement was issued. Luckily she has the money to pay the staff who have been working the hours but the LEA are just so slow.
If we don't pay our Council Tax on time - local government is down on you like a tonne of bricks

It's one rule for us and one rule for them.
There's a programme on channel 4 now about MP's and their allowances. I know that's slightly different but it just goes to show how the rules apply.

They delay payments as long as they can. A taxi firm told me the LEA are always late paying for special needs transport.
