Good morning all from a very dreary and wet Crowthorne.

I have been very organised and went to Pets at Home this morning as my tw were nearly out of food. I took Iz the Whiz with me as I did not wantt o leave her for too long and also it is good training for them to go in to shops.

They are all now asleep although sometime soon I will have to brave the yuck and take them all for a good walk. Yesterday the mud magnets were disguistingly filthy by the time we had been mud paddling for an hour!

Been manic here. Did some Argos shopping on line so went to Bracknell to collect. Having a spot of lunch then I am off over to collect Mum then it is the infant play.

I feel very positive today and hope normal service will be resumed very soon.

My son seems very happy and is giving out his cards today. He almost seems relieved now everything is final but of course he will miss some of the staff and a couple of friends he's made.

Another early good morning from me.

It's very cold and frosty out there so be careful and wrap up warm today.

I was so pleased yesterday when the dentist said she didn't need to remove my tooth and she repaired it instead.

My son woke and up and he could swallow properly with no lump in his throat. He was so much more relaxed and happy. He does miss his friends but he's feeling much better now he's not there any more.

Good luck with Thomas's op today Speeds, we are thinking of you all.

Hope you catch up with everything Barbsy and get some time to chill out.

caught up with lots of housework yesterday, jon was feeling better and was helping so i made him a well done certificate and he was well happy.

A late morning but where else to post
To say thanks for good wishes, Barbs, Rabid and Pixie host
We left our home at 6.45
It was like we were not really alive

Dark, cold and dreary
We went on our way
To the Royal Berks Hospital
For Thomas' operation today

A bit of a shock under the surgeon's knife
His adenoids had grown back, first time in surgeons life
Especially as he has a special technique
Which is supposed to prevent this kind of shreek

Thomas though did very good
Went down at 8.30, not having had food
Came out at 10, but was crying a lot
Got all flustered and bothered and looked rather hot

But the nurse and I turned him around
Put a blanket to soothe him over his gown
Then took him back to the ward, for a sleep
Which he did for 2 hours, except for the snoring, no peep

Then all of a sudden, he awoke and sat up
And asked for a drink of something in a cup
By half past twelve he had eaten some toast
and raisins and drunk a fruitshoot, more grub than most

We waited to see the consultant Mr Flannery
And then we departed back to mum's to collect Izzy
Now back at home, he has just gone to bed
And Mummy will follow soon coz she's a sleepy head

But before I retire, I'll bid you good night
Saying thanks for those wishes, they made it go right!

tis a bit chilly isnt it

hoping everyone is having a nice weekend i have my daughter here so a bit hectic, spent three hours making good old fashioned paper chains yesterday and they sat and coloured them in, now they are hanging all over the house and look really nice. its nie to find something the three of us can do together that will keep them both well focused.

well pixie in sure your feeling more rested now and can look forward to a happy christmas, hoping thomas is feeling brighter too.

Oh dear I missed the morning rush
I'm sorry that I've been all hush
But now its night I'll tell the tale
Of our day, up hill down dale

We went today to see Mr FC
On the Watercress Line, on a train with steam
And also Izzy went back home
Back to Belgium, with her mum, not alone

And what of those adenoids, now twice removed
Well Thomas is so much improved
To say he's had an op on Friday last
Seems a trifle unbelieveable, he's recovered so fast

But off school he will stay for two days more
But return on Wednesday for his Christmas Dinner galore
And then on Thursday for a panto and party spree
And then on Friday for the end of term assembly

So tomorrow I will be confined to our home
Although I think we will visit the post office, not far to roam
Because not a card or present have I sent
I really do not know where 16 days of December went!

Night night to all, sleep tight and dream
Tomorrow another day will gleam
I hope you all have better or good days
And that we will all be here for each other, always

Will dispense with poetry today for a while - but you should all have a go - I am useless as you can see so it is only a bit of fun.

Anyway - I MUST write cards today - did wrapping instead.

Thomas is at home - still in the bath paying scaring the birds (whatever!!!)

I wrapped til I dropped last night - I am a true shopaholic - even I had not realised quite how much I had brought over the last few months

. Have now been severely reprimanded by hubby for spoiling son!

Anyway - I hope that Jon is OK at school, Garry - I do hope that you are more able to weight bear now especially for you Myra - that must be very hard for you. Jane - how is your grandson and Pixie - I hope your young man is still doing well out of the not so nice environment.

good morning, absolutely frozen here! couldnt wait to get back in from the school run.

last day of school today and jon was really excited. santa visited them at school yesterday and today they have their big party, so lots of smiles and he actually wanted to go in today.

i got a phone call at 7.30 this morning from special needs educationto say theyre holding a panel urgently today and will let me know which school jon starts back at as it was requested he attends his special school full time now, i had a fright when the phone went early even though im up at six, can you believe they work that early in education, quite amazing!

blimey a bit of a late good morning from me, its 7.15pm !!!

stuck indoors and still not too well, my daughter will be home tomorrow and i have my mum being brought over as well, i really must dose myself up i can do without it feeling like this, i wish i had another week till christmas!! nevermind, at least i have the turkey and some sprouts here but i couldve done with some last minute shopping, we will just have to make do, perhaps you can all send me some of your leftovers lol.
