just popping in to say good morning to you all. weather looks good so far, but probably will rain later. spending the afternoon at my daughters and this morning jon has his carer booked.

morning all. decided to bring my daughter home for the weekend, now im not so sure it was a good idea.

my daughter hasnt stopped asking the same questions over and over again, more than usual so shes stressed out this morning. my son has had the moody from hell already.

argh...........i needed that.

Our son used to ask the same questions over and over too, even though we always answered. We always saw it as a sign of stress too.

I hope your daughter settles soon and that your son's moody is now over.

Sorry Barbsy, but it's lovely here today. I've put washing out to dry and the sun is shinning.

It must be a thing with boys, especially as they get older. Mine never gets up before 11 now. And to think he hardly slept until he was almost 4.

It's been beautiful here all day, sorry Barbsy. I'm sure we'll get the wind and rain again soon.

I've changed all the beds, wash all the bedding and dried it all. Also stripped a lot of wallpaper but still plenty to do.

no playschemes today so we went to the shopping precinct bought jon a brilliant jacket like the motorrace drivers wear, he looks so grown up.

had some lunch out and sat in the car eating a macdonalds ice cream for desert !!

now home and dry and planning the rest of the day.

good morning from me aswell. actually we have some early morning sunshine i hope it stays fine. taking the little un to a steam train event today, he adores anything to do with trains so he is jumping up and down(whilst eating his breakfast) with excitement.

i feel tired before we even step out the door lol !

oh well monday morning, took jon back to school this morning he seems fine now after his bite reaction. he starts a new after school club today and they pick him up direct from school on their bus so i wont be seeing him until 5.30, seems really strange but hopefully he will be fine and have fun.

hoping all your kids got off to school ok this morning and you can now get on with all the wonderful jobs us mums do....washing,ironing,cleaning. lol

Just been and done retail therapy with my friend Sarah. Sorted out chocoholics catalogues for school and have just got back from Tescos, unpacked and then off to school again.

not taking a chance with the washing this morning, i tried yesterday and it took forever to get dry and in the end i stuck on the clothes horse anyway lol.

just had my hair cut so im feeling pretty human again !

feeling upset today cos i just found out jons carer is taking a months holiday and i dont know how i will manage, i know they may be able t get someone else to do the same hours but it wouldnt be the same as they have such a wonderful relationship. its so nice to have found someone so good with jon but it always worried me that something would happen and we wouldnt have him.

oh well hopefully something will get sorted.

I'm a bit late with my good morning. I wanted to get all my washing done while the sun's still out.

Hubby is still replacing the spindles and then it will be all hands to the pump with paint brushes.

I'm sure the carpet will be worth the wait.

Welcome to Year 1 sharing assembly

On eof the good things about his school is that every child right from Reception upwards has to stand up and speak at assembly. Public speaking is no big deal to them at all and by Years 4-6 they are all clambering to have the most speaking parts - weird compared to whe I was at school.
