Yippee it rained although it did not clear up before school drop off

Have a wonderful Monday.

I have just spent half an hour at school in the staff room as their hydroboil was broken so I got out the PTA urn and filled that. Then a quick word with the Head over Thomas and his support which was very good and then back home fro brekkie.

I am making a to do list today as I have lots of things that need to be todone.

Will be back at school at 1.30 as I need to do the Chocoholics catalogues. Meantto do them this morning but managed to go out without them

It's sunny here now but very windy. I will hang out some washing I think and keep my fingers crossed.

Isn't it dark and dingy at 8 these mornings.

Been up part of the night as Dom was poorly. Then the monster who fell asleep tealess at 4pm came in at 4am. Then Dom was ill again. So a broken night sleep but I actually feel ok on it - at the mo

Just waiting for the man to sort out the coffee maker (taking it away and leaving me with a loan one) and then back to school to sort out rest of harvest stuff. Need to apply for a couple of alcohol licenses and that's my day.

good morning everyone, cant believe how cold it is this morning. we had a wonderful holiday and didnt want to come home,i have come home with too many presents and toys and not very much money. ive pulled a muscle in my arm which is really painful, from carrying too much on the way home! hoping everyone is well.

sitting waiting for the tv man to come take the tele away cos theres no sound (how do you manage without a tv i wonder!) jon wasnt well again yesterday all ive done is clear up sick i do hope things will be better today.had his new carer who is filling in for four weeks but not too sure it will work out.

well half term is practically over now, i feel like i could do with another holiday actually. dont forget to change the clocks at the weekend.

If Piotr came to live in Middlesbrough we would do what we could to
educate
him appropriately as quickly as possible.

I understand that he would not have all the reports and paperwork that
might normally be available for a pupil already living in England but we
could arrange for one of our schools with expertise in Down's syndrome to
take him for a trial, get to know him and advise on where and how best to
support him.

We also employ a specialist teacher to help refugees, asylum seekers and
foreign nationals whose first language is not English obtain the right
support.

Back from a lovely sunny Cornwall (well it was when I left it) to a wet and miserable Crowthorne.

Had a super time away and will post some piccies soon of the holiday.

I hope everyone is well and that the children and not too upset aboutt he clock change. Thomas was up and about but he also has an Inset Day tomorrow so by Tuesday he should be in line.

The coffee morning was great.

It was lovely to meet up with some of the other parents and catch up.

The kids did a great job with waiting on us parents with coffee and toast etc.

Exciting times here.

We collected Dom's brand new car last night woo hoo. Today he took my car and I got to drive the brand new car - it now has 44 miles on the clock

Today we had an orthoptics appointment at the Royal Berks hosp. Then the opticians and then back to school. I have just finished photocopying a load of PTA stuff, then did a quick Tesco's Express visit as I am just about to pick up my friend's 4 year old twins and have them for 2 hours before we go to Sharing Assemby at school

then tonight after school it is home and change and then off to tea with Hannah and thento watch fireworks at Hannah's school

Good Morning All

Hope you have a super sunny day like we are having.

As usual the Hue household is busy busy busy.

Yesterday was fantastic - Flora and Mimi my friends 4 year olds were good - had their lunch and then we played in the garden.

Sharing assembly was phenomenal. This week the school has been doing Carribean week. We had some very scrummy muffins made on Thursday,dancing earlier int he week but yesterday the children all had a go at learning the steel drums. However what was amazing was that after 40 mins the Year 6 were able to give us a concert on what they had learnt and every y6 person had a go at playing in the band and they all had to swap and the music never stopped - oh to have taken my video camera to be able to show you all.

Then after that we came home and got dressed up for the fireworks. These were at a school and done by the PTA and the local Scout Group. Thomas had tea with his friend Hannah and then we went to the fireworks. The firework display was fantastic - very beautiful and well executed.

Back home it was Thomas to bed and a very hastily homemade lasagne for tea.

This morning has not been much better but we have all got up. Then it was off to the petrol station to fill up the Mercedes so that Dom (who does not want to get his new car dirty

) can drive up to Wigan for the Wigan versus Chelsea match. I have the pleasure again of driiving our brand new Beamer which now has 60 miles onthe clock as that is how much I drove yesterday to and from appointments, collecting the girls and then the fireworks.

We are now off for a norty !!!! McDs and then swimming and then over to Nanny's for the afternoon. Thomas is going to stay at my mums for the night and tomorrow Dom and I are going out in his new car for him to have a play with it. He is having a bit of trouble with the gear shift so he wants to have a play and that will be so much easier without the help

of the back seat Thomas driver.

What a busy day Speeds but it sounds like it was very enjoyable too.

I like the sound of the new car. I used to have a Merc, lovely cars they are too.

We have a Zafira now as it's more practicle for us and we hardly go anywhere so it's only used for school runs and shopping trips.

Enjoy McD's, our lad went on Thursday with the school as a way to say thank you for all their hard work with the coffee morning.

Then lunch, rest and then collect the monster from school - change for footie, off to park with dogs, watch footie, cook tea and then bed me finks
