Events organised by Prader Willi Association - all welcomeFrom PWSA websiteMIDLANDS EVENT - Drayton Manor Theme Park - Saturday, 19th July 2008 Join us (Jacquie and Maggie) this summer for a fun packed "Family Day" at Drayton Manor Theme Park. The park offers entertainment for all the family with rides to suit the very brave and the timid! Not forgetting Thomas Land and the Zoo for the little ones. We have negotiated a discount and are offering a subsidy for this event so prices for parents, children with PWS and their siblings are as follows: Adults and children 12+ £10.00 each Children 4 - 11 £ 7.00 each Children under 4 £ FOC Grandparents, other relatives and friends are most welcome, prices are as follows: Adults and children 12+ £16.00 each Children 4 - 11 £13.00 each Grandparents £ 6.00 each Children under 4 £ FOC If you would like to join us please call Maggie at the office (01332 365676) for a booking form. For more information about Drayton Manor visit their website www.draytonmanor.co.uk SOUTH EVENT - Solent Rescue Open Day - Saturday, 21st June 2008 Damien Eagan, Father to Ella Eagan who has PWS, is part of the crew of the Solent Rescue lifeboat and he and his colleagues would like to invite you to attend an open day at Lepe Beach in the New Forest. The day promises to be great fun as apart from a tour of Lepe Country Park, a full display of the lifeboarts, talks from the team about beach and sea safety, they have also invited the coastguard helicopter, the Royal Navy, Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service and essentially anyone with blue lights and a siren! They are also hoping to get a bouncy castle and they have a large playground. The fun starts from 10.00 am onwards, Jacquie and myself will be there, if you would like any more information and directions to the park, please contact Maggie at the office (01332) 365676 or visit www.hants.gov.uk/lepe NORTH EVENT - The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, West Bretton, Near Wakefield - 6th July 2008 Judith Samways will once again be hosting a "Family Picnic" at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, A great opportunity to have a fun day out and meet friends old and new! Don't forget to bring a rug and a picnic (although there is a cafe which sells snacks and ice cream for those who want it) and keep your fingers crossed for good weather!!
