Boy Killed In Merseyside ShootingAn 11-year-old boy has been killed after a shooting in the Croxteth area of Merseyside.Sky News Crime Correspondent Martin Brunt said the incident is being treated as a crime and not an accident. Shooting 'not an accident'"The firer of the gun is believed to be another young person," Brunt said. He added: "It has been suggested the boy has been shot in the neck or chest and that the attack was possibly gang related." A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police confirmed a young boy was shot at about 7.30pm in the car park of the Fir Tree pub in Croxteth. Ambulance chiefs said the victim was taken to Alder Hey hospital with serious gunshot wounds. He was initially said to be in a critical condition but was later confirmed dead.
