Access To School FilesYou can request your child's file from school under the
data protection act 1998 - they have 40 days to comply with this request -
enclose £10.00 for administrations.
You'll be surprised the sort of things they write in there.

Strictly speaking, as you are requesting the files on behalf of your child, who has no income, there should not be an administration charge. Some authorities still try it though.

They did the decent thing and returned our payment so they complied with that aspect of things.
