Wednesday 29th January - Disabled Children reaching Adulthood
(Woman's Hour)
What happens to a disabled child as he or she moves away from the services provided for children, into the world of adult care? And what support is available?

i,ll tell you that,
THE FIGHTING BEGINS ALL OVER AGAIN,you have to apply for access to phisios,social workers, adult training centres,dentists, occupational therapists, speach trerapists .
benifits to claim for
pay a lawyer so that you become a guardian for your own child

its fight fight all the way, ive been through it all as garry is 33 now, but as i work in special education transition is a big part of my job as its the leavers i work with,
