How are you both?

Hope that Garry's ankle is better and that you are getting some help Myra.

thanks for asking about garry ,he is on the mend now, he walked 3 steps away from me yesterday morning before he realised i wasnt holding him from behind, i have been weaning him off the help by holding him round the waist and getting him to weight bear more readily, and yesterday as we came out the house i  turned as normal to lock the door and he went away
he had respite at the weekend so that let us recouperate a bit.

Myra I am so pleased to hear from you.  Well done to Garry for those few steps and also you for being so good at motivating in the right way.

Hope that you managed to enjoy your respite and it wasn't all work work work.

Keep up the good healing Garry

yes peter and i had a good rest, even just getting a nights sleep makes a difference, they are few and far between usually when he is on respite or when we are at our caravan.for some unknown reason he has always slept allnight when up at stirling.      rollon 21st march when the season starts again.

hope you and yours are keeping well.

That is good Myra.  I can imagine life must be quite exhausting for you.

Was a lovely place to have a caravan.  I bet you cannot wait until March.

Myra, I cannot remember where you are but we do have our accessible holiday home in Cornwall so if you and Pete and Garry want a break then let me know.  It is mostly adapted and has a wheel in shower room (chair is there).

Same to others as posted previously.

would love to go to the holiday home but it is far to far for garry to travel,as he self induces his seizures badly when in the car,we had to start putting him in the back seat of the car as he would go into a fit on the motorway and knock the car out of gear, he pulled on the hand break once.luckily the motorway was quite.
even going to our van at stirling 28 miles from the house is stressful but worth it as when therei ts nearly respite

Aww I am sorry to hear that Myra.  At least tje 28 mile journey to your caravan makes you all happy and that is so precious.

Sorry to hear Garry is unwell. There is a lot going round just now, not a nice time of year for bugs.

I hope Garry will feel better soon and that you can get back to work quickly.

I'm glad he's walking is getting better though.

Take care of yourself too. xx
